Got the regular sledge head in a $1 flat at auction. Farm store had a "17% off anything you put in this bag" so I got the 30in hickory handle for $8. I ground off all the old rusty surface with a flap wheel and hit it with some red engine enamel from a rattle can I had sitting around.

$10 for a 16# sledge ain't too bad and it gave me a sense of accomplishment at the end of a day spent shuffling paper work. [emoji2]

This will be used with old metal wedges when I'm felling trees or doing stumps.

Found these at Klems today. The way they were displayed I thought just another Chinese novelty tool. But when I got a better look they were too nicely made. Sure enough made in USA. HY CAPACITY brand pliers. Very nice if you can find a setimage.jpgimage.jpg

Got a spinner breaker mounted to a large piece of angle iron. Works pretty dang good! The red cap is actually a self oiler for both breaker and spinner mechs.

I found this today while I was using tools Does that count? I helped my buddy in maintenance replace a circ pump for our sidewalk heater. We explored the access tunnel below the school and found a stock pile of mre containers full of crackers, he ate some said they were fine dated 1963. We also found these cool 17.5 gal drums. Any one know what they are for? image.jpg

Found these not to long ago in some tools I got from my grandpa along with some other vintage tools. Used them last night to check the points gap in my Poulan 361 after I cleaned them.

Yesterday's haul, everything you see for $10. There are 58 Craftsman sockets in the group along with 42 no name ones. Also a couple of Bernz O Matic torch tips, a Weller soldering iron and 2 Nicholson files. There was a Mac screwdriver in the box when I first opened it up but apparently the guy rummaging the tool boxes took it when I went to ask the price.

I have a large box of Craftsman sockets, time to put some sets together.
