I need to get some parts or parts saws. What I have are Poulan 4900 runs perfectly, it displaces 77cc very dependable all I did was ad a oregon rim and tune it, and it has become my main back up saw. the top cover is held on by 1/4-20 bolts but that's cosmetic and doesn't effect how it runs and it is a runner. I have a McCulloch 10-10 number 2 automatic, it is a strong runner but it needs a new carb and the gas tank sealed. I also have a homelite XL 102 I had never heard of it either. It is a special edition of a ultra light xl series saw, it displaces 57cc and runs perfectly it looks like someone restored it before I got it. Its only issue Is it leaks gas I think it just needs to be resealed. I also have 1@ decent 2100 cylinder, 2 @ 2100 crank cases complete with cranks(some of the threads will need work),rods, ignitions, and flywheels. I have a 2100 recoil starter cover, fan shroud, and Im pretty sure I could come up with a set of full wrap handle bars for a 2100 if I look hard enough.
What I want to trade for are a couple of parts saws. I have the tank, crank case, ignition, pretty much a solid bottom end I just need covers, air cleaner, carb, intake, recoil starter, handle bar, fan shroud, and clutch side cover.
I also have a Stihl 028 Woods Boss, I have the complete bottom end, and a piston and cylinder, minus the rings(44mm would like to get the 46mm cylinder),recoil starter. I like the 028 but will consider trading these parts too. I want a good 55cc to 60cc fixer upper something like a Husky 55, 455, 357, 359, or 460, or a Stihl 028, 029 to 039 clamshell, 034, 036. I am in kind fo a bind and need to get the 066 up and going, and I badly need a medium class saw, to gather cedar posts with. I am not really brand fussy if you have something let me know please.

Well if the color is any indication I'm pretty sure the 2100 I am referring to a Husky. The homelite was a freak, I helped a guy ä while back, gave him a old carb I had tuned it to his saw gave him a old bar for it and acouple old chains and sent him on his way. To me it was all old junk laying around my shop. Then his Mom passed away he found this saw, and a McCulloch 610 and gave them to me. Oh! That reminds me I have enough mac 610 parts to almost build a saw I got everything except the starter. I got to much junk and is taking up space the good stuff needs to live in.

I have no parts to trade you but I'm interested in trading some cash for your 2100 cylinder if your interested .. Jim

Well all right then, I just got home from work, let me go find it. It is in pretty decdent shape, I was keeping it in case I decided to put a 2100 together again, but my 385xp kinda killed that idea, couldn't interest you in decent crank case, complete with crank(threads might be a little buggered), rod, flywheel and ignition, and I am sure the bearings are solid, along with the seals. So honestly what you figure a decent cylinder is worth?

Cool! More 066 money. I have been gouged for parts from greedy people and have no wish to be like that. However, I have no honest Idea what a flywheel and a ignition are worth. How about $25.00 plus shipping for each, so you think $50.00 too much.

I think we already made a deal on the 4900. Waiting for his response...in the PM's that we've had since he posted this thread.

It is 50.00 plus shipping and I need your address for a estimate if that works for you I pulled those parts last night.
I think John is right we do have a deal, of the offers you made I like the 345 idea best so let's get together and work it out if possible.
I posted I have a 10-10 turns out to be a Pro Mac 10-10 in any case it haks a leaky tank, and carb issues if you survive the 300 pulls it takes to get it going it runs like crazy. The Homelite xl 102 starts easy and runs really well the oil tank leaked and now the gas tank is leaking,it has (please forgive me) JB Weld on the seam cause I haven't figured out how to get the tank apart to put a proper gasket in there.
I have decided chainsaws are a lot like cars you acquire them thinking of their potential and how you are going to rebuild them, next thing you know you are stumbling over piles of crap. So in that spirit I am gonna post pictures of a 028 Woods Boss, a 032 AV, and the remainder of 051 crankcase, with piston, rings, cylinder and crank a little dirty, but in good shape, then there are the remains of my 2100 parts. Cash works but 066, ms660 parts would be better, I have the bottom end I need all covers, complete intake, air filter, and muffler. Oh! Yeah! Hardest to get hardware.
I'm gonna have to do this in a couple posts this picture thing kicks my butt, here's the 10-1020161102_183446_West 350 North.jpg 20161102_183446_West 350 North.jpg 20161102_183429_West 350 North.jpg 20161102_183409_West 350 North.jpg 20161102_183349.jpg

If this works here's the Homelite XL 10220161102_183619_West 350 North.jpg 20161102_183557_West 350 North.jpg 20161102_183541_West 350 North.jpg 20161102_183525_West 350 North.jpgThat went well maybe I can get a parts saw up20161102_182752_West 350 North.jpg 20161102_182752_West 350 North.jpg
OK the 028 not the best light but.

Here is the 051 I have a good gas tank for this also I just forgot it in the picture. 20161102_182452.jpg 20161102_183001.jpg 20161102_182330_West 350 North.jpg 20161102_182309_West 350 North.jpg 20161102_182235_West 350 North.jpgThis thing has been in my collection for years, the cylinders are 2100, the piston is a single ring 2101 all are runners just install them.
I have one 2100 case that has been pretty much stripped20161102_182108_West 350 North.jpg 20161102_182052_West 350 North.jpgOne that still has a few pieces, the threads on the flywheel side of these first two are kinda messed up a talented guy could possibly fix them here is the second20161102_181941_West 350 North.jpg 20161102_181927_West 350 North.jpgThis last one was pretty much a sport block the cylinder is nice the piston is a solid dual ring I know this because it was the one I was gonna build on then along came my 385xp.20161102_181855_West 350 North.jpgNow why I needed to do some trading so there they are guys help me make them gone!
