NFL employees risk a lot by expressing their objections to honoring a flag which represents to some of them the opposite of what it means to others. I'm glad they are standing up for their truth, to refute what I take for granted, to remind me that what I consider to be practically sacred is nothing of the kind to them.

Remember this too, sweet white America, of which I'm the most guilty, if they could, some would return our policies to the days when our fellow Americans were deprived of the fruits of their labor, denied protections under "the Law" that I all too casually assume belong to everyone, stripped of their basic human rights to be connected to their own families, kicked and slapped and spit on and shot and hung for no reason, and that our precious government did nothing to interfere; indeed our government, you and me, or so we say, facilitated this brutality against our brothers and sisters who did nothing to deserve to be bound and packed and shipped to this hell-hole. (Have you seen the boats that they were shackled into on their journey to this concentration camp! It will make you ill, if you are human.)

We better not assume they have no place, no standing, to be furious with America. Bill Walton said if he was black, he'd be angrier than they are.

I hope and pray that those who are most embittered would try to recognize that some white folk do care deeply about them and their ongoing plight, that some of us reject utterly the abuse they endured as somehow fair or acceptable, that we would never wish their experience on them. They are our family. Some died in battle for me and you.

And to you who have never failed at this thing called being human, you get to be first in line to throw your rocks at others. I apologize to each of them.

My mother didn't want children. She did not like me. Never touched me, never read a bedtime story to me (she never missed an opportunity though to read to my sisters until they slept. But, she could curse like a sailor, lose her temper in an instant in a frightening fashion, and terrorize. She was a powerfully built woman, husky, big shoulders, thighs, strong muscular arms, and when she boiled over into a white hot rage, she could have killed many men I know. She was terrifying, I guarantee it.

But a black woman came to us for a stretch when mother became ill and she hugged me, she dried my cheeks, she sang to me as she put me to bed as a little boy, and I've never forgotten her. She was my real mom.

Well boys, I figure it's time to learn self-hypnosis. There's no telling how far I can travel into unknown psychic spheres of this preeverted thinker on my shoulders. LE uses it to help witnesses recall specific details of people they think may be involved in crimes. I'll probably remember violent, dastardly murders I am responsible for from back in the day. I plan on turning myself in to collect any reward moolah.

Tesla thought Einstein was an idiot.

"A former Pennsylvania politician has been convicted of indecent assault after admitting that he fondled the breasts of his 103-year-old mother-in-law suffering from dementia--

William Spingler, former commissioner of Radnor Township, said during a hearing Thursday that the “stupid, harmless act” (couldn't resist that severe temptation to fondle the boobs of a 103 babe, huh willy?) has destroyed his life--(harmless? if you touched one of my sisters like that, you wouldn't be around to discuss it, u stupid punk)

“I mean, my reputation is destroyed, (gosh, i wonder why, you jack-ass-idiot) my business is destroyed,” (such a shame) said Spingler, 75. “It was just something that I shouldn’t have done.” (no, really?)

Spingler, a Democrat who stepped down from the Radnor Board of Commissioners in 2015, admitted fondling his mother-in-law at a nursing home on two occasions in December, but denied making any sexual contact on a third occasion."

Well that changes everything. On the third occasion this preevert didn't molest his demented 103 year old mother-in-law in a nursing home. Way to go, Billy Boy. Put his butt in stirs and chuck the key

I can't think of a single example when a human being demonstrated evil intentions

Ever notice that? No one is ever to blame for anything. After Judge Judy has thoroughly humiliated some guilty imbecile, he looks into the camera and says to the t.v. audience that his finance lied through her teeth, that he was completely innocent, that just because he borrowed $500 from her to get out of jail, he doesn't have to pay it back. "She was just lookin for a booty call and I'm worth more than five hundred bucks. I usually charge a thousand bucks to get out of jail for a booty call."

Pinatubo91eruption_plume (2).jpg Now there you go. This abnormal nutjob was convinced he did a super job sharpening this chain for the big old MS 660 Magnum. All set to kick some behind today. It wanted to skate across the wood. Redid the rakers. More slip slidin away. It was worse. So angry I could explode.

Have no idea what went wrong. On a few occasions I sharpened a dull chain and it chewed away the wood proving it. I have no idea what I did differently this time.

I'm boilin over with hostility. BOILING PISSED

What was the chain doing?

"What was the chain doing?"

Not much. It wasn't biting into the wood. It spit out a smaller portion of chips than it does if every cutter is cutting properly. Feeling each cutter after sharpening them, they seemed very sharp. It didn't produce powdery crap. It felt like it just wasn't digging in, so I redid the rakers and it didn't improve.

JefftheGuper, who stepped down after admitting fondling his mother-in-law at a nursing home on two occasions in December, denied making any sexual contact on a third occasion.

Wanna bet?

The chain wasn't tight enough. Amazing. It wasn't loose, it just wasn't tight enough. What a difference that makes.

I think my red oak is made out of lead. Never worked with any wood as heavy as this and I've worked with red oak b4.

Ice hockey is a strange sport. The players are tough, no question. But, they get checked after releasing the puck 2 seconds before and they have tantrums. And when they get totally clobbered completely legitimately, I mean really, really hard, they still have tantrums and crying fits.

Football players get smacked like that all the time. It is an integral part of every play. Look at the line play. That's all they do.

Don't get hockey.

"...the skull fragment the Russians dug up outside the Führerbunker in 1946 could never have belonged to Hitler. The skull DNA was incontestably female. The only positive physical proof that Hitler had shot himself had suddenly been rendered worthless. The result is a mystery reopened and, for conspiracy theorists the tantalizing possibility that Hitler did not die in the bunker." Uki Goñi is author of The Real Odessa (Granta), about the escape of Nazi war criminals from Europe

Of course he didn't die in that bunker. We never saw solid proof that our sweet old Adi was dead. Supposedly, he used cyanide and shot himself with orders to have his corpse burned afterwards. Now Goebbels? That boy got cooked, that's clear, but the greatest coward of all time? The version of events his gang of killers proffered was ridiculous on its face. He was a total, complete coward, a hypochondriac, an enormous wuss, a huge, spoiled brat and he had access to multiple millions in various currencies, surrounded by criminals who would go to any length to hide his behind. It is obvious to anyone who knows anything about human nature that this wimp would never, ever, subject himself to the possibility of experiencing physical pain of any kind for any reason.

So, the mystery continues. Where did he hide and thrive after he was smuggled out of the bunker?

I love the look of freshly cut red oak timbers. Wish there was a way to preserve the way they appear as soon as they are cut. For some reason, the reddish grain is like artwork. The aroma is great too.
