Its likely a standard 120 with a 119 clutch cover. 120 is 60cc, 120super and 120si are 68. You can delete the base gasket but you need to check your squish. To be honest I would be keeping pretty standard where you will find it a tourqey but heavier 60cc saw. They have are very well made and have a very solid feel to them. Main things is to have a air filter in good condition and to have a working chain brake as these are NLA and can be a pain to find second hand. Before you pull the cylinder off I would pull the muffler off and seeing what the piston looks like - if its ok I would simply give the carby a work over and run as is.

Sweet thanks! I took it apart last night and the cylinder and piston are great! No scratches on either. Rings look ok and the compression is 150psi so if that is good I'll replace the fuel lines and go through the carb. I already did a slight muffler mod and am going to check squish without the base gasket for tirds and guffaws. I'll let

Oh yes the air filter is ok the felt is a bit worn off but not bad at all.

Squish in my 120 project saw is from .029"-.032" so I think we're good there .. I've got a carb kit coming and got some new fuel lines for her. Hopefully I'll have her together by the weekend.

Hey guys ! I'm parting out a 120sih the piston and cylinder is in good shape . Would just need rings. Had 120 psi compression before I took it off. It's also got the heated handle. I do not know if it works but it's pretty cool! I've got a decent carb, intake and injector . If anyone is interested please pm me thanks.

I've also got a great working 112 that I can not get sold so I'm open to parting that out as well.

I can take pics of both jut let me know what you want.

Hey guys my 7910 that I purchased new and has only had 8 tanks of mix ran through it has me ticked. I had a 6400 in the past and loved it...should've never sold it. Anyhoo this thing floods every single time I try to start it cold, the 6400 always started easily cold. I remember reading on here that another guy had the same issue and in that thread there were comments or comment made on how the owners manual said something about pulling the choke out and pushing it back in to set the high idle and pull it a couple few times if it didn't start pull the choke out for a pull or something like that...I really don't remember. The dealer didn't have a owners manual to go with the saw. Another post in the thread talked about the tank vent running to the carb I think. Anyhow any help would be appreciated.

My 6421 I just pull the choke out and get it to pop, push it in one position to high idle start and the start it. Works every time no problems flooding unless I being stupid...

I didn't take it that way. My 6400 started like you say but this dang 7910 WILL PUT YOU IN YOUR GRAVE if you try to start it like that!

Took me a long time to find that 115 but it was worth the wait. They are lovely saws and a 115 with a 16 inch bar, a 120si with a 20 and a 143 with a 24-28 is is still a killer combination for Australia where their torque and toughness really works in our hard wood.

Just a shout out to the Dolmar faithful, anybody think that the Tillotson carburetor is that much better over the Walbro?
I have a 115 with the Walbro and was thinking of swapping the carburetor with a 111i. Appreciate any thoughts on this, thanks.

Not a sachs but is a 1993 dolmar = a new one to me and never seen this done before.

Will put my ole 166's just to keep with the theme.
