Picked this up for $50. 6" jaws. Weighs 160 pounds.
Can't seem to find any of these crimpers. They stopped making them in the 1970's or 1980's.

This is what I use, Thomas and Betts Sta-Kon. I use it on insulated and uninsulated terminals. Keeps me from pinching my fingers in the wire stripper. I have a tool similar to the one you are looking for that cuts bolts and a specialized stripper. Three tools instead of one, more ballast to carry around.

I have used the Thomas Betts and similar crimpers. They have a nice feel but toolpouch space is limited. So the Burndy crimpers - cut wire, split screws, rethreaded 24 and 32 threaded screws, stripped wire and crimped. Tried lots of different brands as Inland Steel tried to keep us happy. But we could never find a pair equal to the Burndy Y10M. Even Burndy struck out trying to come up with an equal replacement. I will keep checking the flea market and garage sales for a used pair.
Split Ring Pliers
Here's something that I didn't know I needed, until a neighbor showed me.
I like to use split rings (like those on key chains) to hold things together; to tether chuck keys to drills; adjusting wrenches to tools; attach brass tags to things; etc. I can buy them at the hardware store; collect them off of free key rings given as advertisements, and have collected a variety of smaller sizes from the fishing tackle aisles at some outdoors stores.
But I always opened them with a small screwdriver, a knife, my thumb nail, etc. Who knew that there were special pliers made for this!? Makes the task much easier, and the rings muck less likely to fly off somewhere. They come in different sizes - found in the fishing tackle aisles, or on line. Now, you need a pair too!

Sears sells iconic Craftsman brand for $900 million
"Stanley Black & Decker has acquired Sears' iconic Craftsman brand for about $900 million, the companies announced Thursday.
The deal gives Stanley Black & Decker the right to sell Craftsman products, which include tools and lawn equipment, at stores other than Sears. Shares of Sears rose by as much as 7% in premarket trading Thursday.
According to the agreement, Sears will get a cash payment of $525 million at closing and another $250 million after three years. Sears will also get annual payments of between 2.5% and 3.5% on new Stanley Black & Decker sales of Craftsman products for 15 years. Sears will continue to sell Craftsman-branded products in its Sears, Kmart, and Sears Hometown stores, as well. Sears originally bought Craftsman in 1927 for $500.
The deal provides Sears with a much-needed infusion of cash and ongoing payments as it grapples with ballooning debt and falling sales. The company said Thursday that same-store sales at Sears and Kmart stores fell in the range of 12% to 13% in November and December, which are the first two months of the company's fiscal fourth quarter.
In the third quarter, Sears' revenue fell by 13%, to $5 billion, and losses widened to $748 million from $454 million in the period last year. The company said Thursday . Sears CEO Eddie Lampert has been loaning the company money to keep it afloat. Over the past two years, Lampert and his hedge fund, ESL Investments, have loaned Sears nearly $2 billion to keep the business in operation, including a $500 million loan announced Wednesday.
"Craftsman has a storied history as an iconic American brand, and in Stanley Black & Decker we have found a great owner that is committed to expanding Craftsman and helping it to reach its potential outside of its current channels," Lampert said in a statement. "Looking ahead, we will continue to take actions to adjust our capital structure, meet our financial obligations and manage our business to better position Sears Holdings to create long-term value by focusing on our best members, our best stores, and our best categories.""

My local Sears has been cutting back on what tools they have in stock, some no long offered at all. They have given me other brand tools for warranty replacements (Knipex, etc.) which have their own warranty. I do not know how to get a replacement of a Knipex plier when it wears out, but then it has never happened to me so....
I needed split ring pliers today and didn't know it till reading this post. Echo uses split rings on their oil lines, and I attempted to reinstall a split ring without split ring pliers. Thanks, Philbert
'Saw' this at an estate sale. Some parts were clearly off of a commercially made band saw. Maybe the original was damaged? Maybe he wanted a larger Saw? Maybe he just liked plywood?

It was just thrown together with bits that was kicking around the shop, it does everything I could ask of it and will hold my smallest 30 cc saw up to the 070 &090`s. Hard to beat that for basically a free tool.

Nice, did you add a belt loop on the back? I put mine in my cargo pants pockets but then when I have gloves on I can't get them out of the pockets! This looks like it would work well with gloves on - nice work.

My plan today when I get back is to cut two 2 inch slots in the bacl for a callers belt and then it should be great!
