Paul was thinking of handle wrap on my 600's . Since one had paracord , the other a split hose . Has to be better than that .

Well I'm sure it will much better than Paracord or hose.

Walter's idea is a good option too. I have used the tennis wrap on a couple of non-saw related things and it's good stuff.

Nobody tell my wife... I dragged another one home today. Guys dad bought it new in ‘80. Really clean by the looks of it. Know more when I get it home on the bench.

If you get to the point where you get enough of a pile of saws, they can't tell if you added another one to the collection. The trick is getting to that point!
 
Great looking Farmsaws guys. I've never ran one but I'm guessing they're similar to a 41. Has anyone that you know ever hotrodded one?
I hot rodded this one a little bit. I did a little bit to the upper transfers and exhaust. Also was able to delete the gasket. It's pretty nasty, and only has 2 tanks thru it. Compression was at 175 when I handed it over to my dad.
