Injex has a pleasant/distinct smell but it's not rated for air cooled engines.
According to their advertising " bumph" although it's marine certified & not Jaso cert it complies to FB Rating this is equal to Stihl oil one or more of which is the same rating usually if it states meets a Jaso rating it would pass the test but the company choose to not submit for the test maybe(Cost or the fact that the Jaso test is dated & advances in oil development have occurred The oil we use is blended by a 2/3 man company all ex ELF techs the oil has no rating but we know it exceeds the FC/D ratingas they have analised the top 2smoke oils & blended accordingly by cannot afford the huge cash amount for the rating with these small blenders it's more who you know rather than what if you take the time to delve into the specs (& understand them to a certain extent ) there are a good #of compay's that blend quality oil that has no rating

Stihl and husky both gave me headaches

No problems.

Simple honest solution is to stop mixing synthetic oil & start using a petroleum based oil of your choice. The higher quality the synthetic is, the worse your headache will be.

This thread solved a mystery for me. I bought a new Stihl Kombi system for olive picking. They gave me a sample of the Stihl synthetic oil and I mixed a batch to use, as I thought it would be a good idea, since its the first 4-Mix machine I've owned.

I had a headache for two days after using that bottle of oil.

I think I was in the 3rd grade when my dad brought home a plastic screen that attached to your B&W tv.

The plastic screen was blue on the top, some other colors in the middle, and green near the bottom. It gave you a very cheesy illusion that you were watching a color tv.

Back then, we thought we were good to go.
The early TV screens were so small you could by a magnifying screen to increase the picture size & the vertical & horizontal hold controls required more "tuning than the "H & L mixture screws on a saw "Ah the good old days"

Try a Castor bean oil R40 it may/not give you a headache cause nasel problems but sure as heck the will be no other oil (other than other brands of R oil) that will give you that distinctive smell, problem is it runs a bit "mucky"

To bring this thread back on topic: One would have thought that the citizens of Dodge would all have chipped in, and rented Doc an office on the ground floor......

Yes, not exactly ADA compliant; really not bullet-in-the-leg compliant.

Vertical hold was the most finicky thing on those old TVs - you had to reach around the back and watch the screen while you found that one micron spot where the picture would stop rolling. Then 5 minutes later it would start again. But sometimes a smack on the side of the TV would get it working.

Redline Allsport smells kinda similar to bean oil but it's a modern low deposit synthetic. When I started competing in motorcycle observed trials I was using Motul but it made really nasty smelling exhaust, so nasty that other competitors complained. I switched to Allsport as it makes the exhaust smell much more pleasant. I use it in my saws and other two stroke power equipment.

To OP. They have medical weed or legal weed in your state?

Cut your mix oil with some hash oil; cut wood and be happy. You may find it attracts free spirited , hairy armpit , hippy woodland nymphs to your landing. Take them for a ride on the skidder to the secluded pine grove near the stream for some skinny dipping.........:happybanana:
