Here’s the view at my house this morning. The maples have been hanging onto their leaves pretty well due to all of the moisture we’ve received and the birches are approaching full color. The larger aspen take another week or so.

Beautiful color there. We will be a few weeks before seeing much change here in Iowa. Weather has been so wet and rainy lately that leaves wouldn't shine in the sun anyway. Hope it dries out soon so the crops can continue to be harvested.

It's been unseasonably cold here this "fall" went straight from summer to winter almost it seems 3rd time we've had snow already. Leaves are still hanging on the trees except most of the ash has been bare for a few weeks. And My oak trees look better now than they did all summer.

Just came home from my camp in NY, about 12 miles from Canada. The colors there are just getting going--it's been too warm until now.

But here's a pic from 2 yrs ago about this time. The sugar maple leaves are orange and catching evening sun.
