I have a 362 C-M that I acquired 3-14. I say acquired because Stihl was not able to correct the air filter problem on my original 362 purchased in 2012, so they gave me a C-M in exchange. Not a bad deal. It is a great firewood saw, but I seem to grab my 23 yo 044 for some reason. I also have an 024 Super, 026, MS260, MS460 and an 066 that has been ported by a local guy.

I have an MS362CM with a bad piston. If you're still interested in a saw, please reply (even if you aren't interested in mine). If you aren't, please close out your thread.

Well, I've received a few PM replies asking pictures. It seems that this thread is dead as far as the OP is concerned. So, if I may take it from here... I took some pictures today that turned out pretty well. I now have three things available: (1) I seem to be good at cooking saws. If you need someone to wreck a saw, I can do that for you free of charge. (2) taking pictures of saws for sale, pricing is negotiable, but as you can see I seem to be a pro at that too. (3) a cooked MS362C for sale, power head only, $200 plus shipping. The pictured bar and chain is -not- included, but can be for more $. I have this posted locally too and would prefer local pick up versus shipping. I located in Wisconsin, near Milwaukee.

As stated above, there is no charge for wrecking them. Send your 461 on over, easy job, guaranteed results, and quick turnaround!

I am VERY curious how you cooked the piston on an M-tronic saw. Did it have an air leak, or is that straight gas ?

And I dont need you to wreck my saws. I want you to wreck yours and sell them to me cheap like that one lol
