What are they anyone know?
I hear cabinet makers referring to that as pitch pockets. Don’t know if that’s what it actually is or not. It is very common in cherry. I’ve turned a lot of cherry and most of it I see has some in it.
That’s a nice looking spoon. Been carving long?
