hi,

I purchased a Stihl Arborist helmet the other day and it does not come with ear muffs.

What are you suggesting I purchase in terms of ear muffs?

I have this exact helmet, love it! You will have to call Whoever you get your stuff from, I called treestuff, I explained that it was a Kask Helmet, and I couldn’t attach my muffs, they actually sent me out a pair of adapters that screw in, and than I use 3m Peltor muffs, they hook right up. I’d recommend a dif ear muff tho, see what fits for the Kask Hi Viz helmets. Hope this helps.

Do you also have a meshed visor?

How often do you have the change the shield?

One of our part time climbers has a shield like that and he can barely see through it now because of all the scratches.

It has scratches, but I can still see outta pretty well. I haven’t had any issues with it, I do try to clean it, I thought about using a scratch protector on it, I used to use the stuff on my half shields in hockey, worked well. Maybe suggest a protectant. Haven’t had to switch it out yet. Thank Goodness, that would get pricey lol.

Plexus plastic protectant. Used it in motorcycle helmet face shield’s with great results.
