Need Guidance Sissoo Root Removal

Had a 11-year old Sissoo tree in the backyard and found its roots pushing up our pool deck and pavers. I noticed some pavers pushed up 25-yards from the trunk and going to my house! Already had an arborist come out and remove the tree. I'm looking for some guidance and advice:

1. The arborist didn't poison the trunk and let it sit for a few weeks. Instead, they took down the tree and used a machine to pull out the base/trunk. There are roots that I've dug up and exposed that are now growing green spouts and flowers. Is there anything that I can do to stop these from growing? Is there a way to poison the roots at this point?
2. I am pulling up the pavers and in the attached pictures I show quite a large root getting all the way to my house (about 25-yards from the trunk) then diving down. Can I saw it off there and be okay or will it start growing from there?
3. Same question with smaller roots--I can pull up the roots all the way to the end, but towards the end, they dive down and I can't get it. Can I cut it there and cover it and will that stop its growth?

This sissoo tree really wreaked havoc to my backyard. I'm trying to do most of this work myself. Thanks for your guidance and advice.

Thanks for the video! That is what I was told the arborist was going to do, instead, they bore out the trunk and then applied some poison (supposedly--I don't think they did). Now, I have the roots sprouting all around. My thought is to somehow unearth where the trunk was and find all the big roots and then drill there and poison. Thoughts? In addition, I'm forced to remove the roots that ruined the pavers and pool deck--but that probably only accounts for 30% of the roots - who knows where the other roots go that aren't visible.

Sounds like a nightmare, worse that what I've seen with my mimosa that can't be killed.

Sounds like you're on the right track by exposing the roots, pulling out what you can and spraying the rest.

Thanks for the PDF--that is what I thought they arborist would do, but they didn't. I'm going to try to dig out where the stump was to get to the rest of the roots and will poison from there. I spent a few hours pulling back some pavers and following one of the roots that I uncovered (see the roots on the left by the BBQ). The other disruptive root is on the right and can be seen going all the way to the house. Ugh.

One of my biggest questions is if the roots will be killed when cutting towards the end of the root? For instance, I want to cut the root right before my house then poison it there. Will it continue to grow even though it's cut off from the bigger root?

states that suckers will continue to sprout up from the roots as long as there is food still stored in the root.
I don't think the actual root will continue to grow, but rather it provides nutrients for the new suckers.
is that what you were asking?
