Hi guys, I just got a 272xp. I'm interested in getting a full wrap for it. I thought I read somewhere that the full wraps fit the plastic brake handle saws w/out any cutting/grinding. So since I can't hold/test fit the wrap handle bar on my saw, am I safe buying any 272 full wrap handle bar I can find? Thanks for any help

Hey guys, I was wondering if I should use bar plates on my 272? I can't find any posts where owners use them. Lots of them on ebay which is why I would think they have a purpose. I assume they protect the case/clutch cover? Thanks for any help

Need to rebuild the carb in my 266xp, which is in Vermont. Plan to be up there next month. What carbs are used(if more than one) so I can order the kit(s) and have them sent there. Forgot what’s in the saw.

Just installed a new P&C on a friends 240. Rebuilt carb and added new bearings and seals. Having an issue with carb settings as I can't get it to start. Anyone have an idea what the initial settings should be? Tried the usual 1-1/4 on both needles but no luck. Might add it's a terrible saw to work on.
I had a similar problem with an echo and found that the meter lever was set too low so it wouldn't start without a prime. Re-set the needle and vroom vroom!

Hey guys new to the husky world any way ill cut to the chase got a little 1998 350 runs great I have pulled the jug to delete the base gasket n do the hose clamp upgrade also done a poulan 4000 style muffler mod too any way started reading alot about porting and I cant find anything about porting the open port cylinder

Im wondering if anyone has used a Huztl Husky 235 or 240 topend to repair a Poulan stratos. Seems a nobrain as these are about $10.00 each at the moment. I've used Huztl top ends on a 61 and a Stihl 024 with good results.

IMG_6575.jpg finally managed after 10 months... (Yes 10 months of a dry spell of firewood harvesting due to moving house job and location in the country) to get to use my brand spanker 365XT for a good couple of hours. I was mildly worried with its side by side weight to the oe 365’s that it was going to be heavy whilst using it, but I cannot notice a thing. At all.

It’s great, more torques than the original 365 or 2165’s of which I’ve had multiples.. now when I am bored of this and want to give it a 372 make over is it literally just transfer cap grinding and retune? Or is it more and what is this talk that people say that they still aren’t quite a 372 once you do this?? Is this true.

Cheers guys for the advice to come [emoji23]
