Guys, shouldn’t this topic be on the chainsaw forum? Clearly he’s not selling it anymore. Why not just remove this ad frank? I’m not one for taking sides, your handling the fire very well lol.

I felt like I got ripped off from a porter before and just decided my rebuilds are exactly what I need for a saw. That why you know exactly what you have when it’s done.

There is only so much to be gained in each model, sooner or later durability has to be a factor.asking bearings and other cruial parts to hold up under more torqueand rpm then they were designed to do is bound to.cause issues sooner or later

And do you have the knowledge to know where that line is ?

Exactly the cop out I expected.
Not a cop out at all ! The guy who spends the $ for coolheads for his banshee is going to walk the guy that’s stock ... all things being equal of course

Yeppers , but ya gotta understand that here in wny we have A lot of EAB infested dead ash (I’m sure you do to ) Been doin some takedowns/ Processing ... most of the trees are 20” under at the stump - some are 25” plus ... drop em and dice em up with ported 461R until the wood gets 14” under ... then take over with the ported 241c ... could I cut em with a stocker 441 mag ? Yeppers ... but when your buck depends on speed then the ported saws shine ! Plus as you well know having ported saws yourself ... they are a RIOT to run ! I guess we could go back old-school and chop the tree down with the axe and buck up with a 2-man saw ( and I have mucho respect for that - I gotta have some pipes/stamina) but if for gain ya can’t coach speed !!!
sounds like a job for a poulan wild thang. maybe go post this for sale over in FHC. OH WAIT your banned there!!!

hum... doing the math here ....this gives me and idea if a ported 241c is worth $1k.... great .... my nice used/stock 346xp should be worth $2k correct ? I mean you can't buy them anymore right ....o_O and after is have it ported $2500... ..I'm in the money ...., i'm in the money ..lalalal.....
