Whether you need big or little or single or dual or zero dogs depends on what you are cutting, where you are cutting it, how the rest of your saw is set up, and your preferences.

Go ahead and buy a set (but not from that fool) and try them if you are curious. Easy enough to swap back if you don’t like them.
 
Those are a bit overly aggressive. I like my 372 factory west coast dogs. The only time they really shine is when I’m cutting big old spruce with thick dead bark. That’s when the tiny stock dogs just slip off with the bark.
