I work for a shop that takes on small jobs if your in need. No website but they answer the phone.

This shop has done various parts for me reliably, an actual business with employees and several geniuses on staff.

These tools work excellent, never put case/bearings/seals together so quickly. Roughly 20 mins and the cases were together with new seals and top end back on a 661

Definitely worth every penny! Thanks again @Mattyo

I’ll be following for update kits/tooling :drinking:

So as an update, the entire first run of tools is spoken for. I used one of the 20 initial sleeves to prototype the 2nd run. ...so I have 19 initial tool sets that were available and now are spoken for.
I already have 3 people in for the 2nd run, which will include a sleeve with a couple adapters so as to do all of the major stihl and husqvarna saws. The stihl saws ..in particular the 044 ...have VERY tiny seal pockets...19mm. so I have to have an adapter machined to that spec. I already have the prototype and will be testing it asap. I don't know if the next set will hit the same price point.... I'm having the threaded rods machined on long island and I'm being given a nice guy rate for the first few.

If anyone wants in on the 2nd run let me know and I'll put them on the list. For those that are on the initial list I'll keep you updated here. I'll hopefully have more of an idea of true ETA at the CT gtg... May 6th....when hopefully I get delivered some of the threaded rods :)
excellent work mattyo. how much do they cost ?

i would love to had blow molded cases made for these things, but I can't imagine how much $$ it would cost in the small quantities that I deal with. harbor freight has blow molded cases, but they are likely super cheap because they sell millions of kits of whatever tools. would be nice to find a cost effective solution.

and just like that, tools back out of stock

sorta

only ended up with a half batch of m14 rods due to a tap breaking. i've tried to get replacement taps, they keep sending right handy taps .... ugh. hopefully 2 arriving tomorrow which I will promptly send to the machinist, then when he gets the remaining rods done i'll have good stock of the main kit for a while.

I shipped 22 packages yesterday including 4 international.... I think I have 8 more on the bench packed up.

anyone that is interested can send me a PM ...

I think I have 5 kits in stock currently. These have been going super quick. I'm already gearing up for the next round!

How bout them sleeves? Not sure which one I bent the lip on but may need another..

Not sure which one but can check later back at the shop. I believe the 044 fit sleeve
