372 chain tension problem

Looking at it all it seems like a worn rim sprocket was causing the bottom of the chain’s drivers to wear along with the clutch spline. And I think cause my problem.

Will any brand of rim sprocket fit? 3/8 pitch of course.

Yah I think it’s a safe bet the sprocket is worn . Might as well replace the bearing while your there

Drum too? Those dents shouldn’t hurt anything with a new sprocket. Right?

Perfectly fine I just wasn’t sure how much wear was considered worn. It’s my first big saw. Nothing else I have had came with a rim sprocket. Kinda seems obvious now.

Yeah, I'd replace that sprocket NOW, even if there weren't any other problems.
