Those misc parts definetly cool. I think I skipped over them looking at all the used saws and p&c's listed lately. Which were generally more than I valued them at!

I haven't really looked, but Kevin in SK was going to dump a lot of J'reds stuff on eBay....it will all be high priced. Once all gone, the parts prices should drop back down again....hopefully. It's like the old adage; 'You can ask whatever you want, but what you actually GET is something usually different.' I think his seller handle is: 123.sawman

Looking for a spark boot cover for a 80 if anyone’s got one laying around
Thx

I think I only have a couple on saws. Most of them got tossed if the saw was used a lot. I used to see them occasionally come up on the bay. I have no spares, sorry.

Kinda like the original hand guards bolted to the top cover. I might have one of those...hate 'em.

All good. I know not a necessity

You did real well on that deal, Robin! You probably have one of the best NOS Jonsereds parts hoards in the world.

I've got quite a few!!! LOL!! Spent some time in the new parts bin last night....found a NOS Dolmar 120 Super piston....at least that's what I think it is...certainly not Jonsereds....twin ring, crowned piston in 49mm......also unexpectedly found a NOS heated handle switch for a 451EV too!!! Those are the proverbial "Hen's Teeth" right there!!!!

Looks like a decent bar.

Just five yrs or so back I was able to find 10mm bars in .058, .404 on the bay. I don't see much of anything anymore in .404 . Tim helped me score a partial roll of .058, .404 skip-tooth a few yrs back. That chain has all but disappeared in that gauge.

I finally got my 80 ready to go, now I just need some big wood to run it in, I tested it out in some 28" dry yellow pine and it ran phenomenal

How much bar is that?

It looks like a yardstick & a 1/4.

Ya know me and 80’s with full-wraps....saw sex...lol.

I’m not sure how long you can go with a 3/8” bar....probably 32”. With a ,404 and skip-tooth, definitely 28” is your limit.

Looks like you have the flat bottom A/F cover and the copper screen mesh filter? Throw those away and get the round cover with the flocked filter. That copper screen mesh filter setup is junk.

Also if you can find it, there's a black, flat plastic wing that screws into the bottom of the trigger handle. Really helps the saw sit on the ground with bigger bars.

It's either 34" or 36", I can't remember off the top of the top of my head, that bar is swapped between three different saws with 10mm mouns

Cool.

The 910/20/30 is a Stihl 14mm mount, right?

I think the bar is a little bigger, it's full comp .375 chisel, Currently the only big bar I have in that mount currently so it will have to do, I need to find one around 32"

And if I new where to get that filter setup I would lol

Yeah, looks longer than 32". You want to be careful not to overload the saw with too much B&C....good way to smoke your motor in a hurry if/when you stall the bar in a cut......lots of torque going on there.

Those flocked filters and A/F covers were perpetually on eBay for yr & yrs....maybe they're all gone now.:(

Kevin

No they are a 10mm mount, but the 930 had large husky studs at some point in production, the 14mm was the large dolmar mount

Sent from my E6810 using Tapatalk

That's because they had almost become a Husky during the 930 production.

All I can say is I'm sure glad I stockpiled old J'reds parts over the yrs....it's going to be a rough ride from here out.
