Stopped by our local Echo dealer and was told the 310 is no longer.
He had 1 left so I grabbed it , just because.

Nothing really to brag about other than it's extremely lite, 8.8 lbs.

Did a muff mod and retune before I even started it.
I do volunteer trail maintenance in our National forest so this will be an easy pack saw.

Was just thinking, I paid 199 , new, for my cs400 almost 10 years ago, with case.

Steve
The cs 400 here 10 years ago was 400 bucks with case, gas can and a hat. We get so ripped off here. For the echo saws when i bougjt my cs 520. I had it figured that every 10cc was $100 bucks. My 520 was almost 600 with tax. About 500 befor.

I would be screaming about the 20% sales tax rate, but that's me.

I guess I won't miss the CS-310 since I got the CS-346, Craftsman 2.0, Stihl 009L, and the CS-361P.
Love me some Echo CS346.

Makes sense to get rid of the 310 since the 352 is the exact same saw with more power for a few bucks more. The mm 310 I did was a good cutting saw but a 352 is just a better starting point.
I bought a cs310 then later a cs352. The cs310 NEVER gets used. I DON'T like their AV, I don't like their Air filter. I did a MM and Tune up and the cs310 woke up. But it was a waste of 200 dollars. I REGRET buying it. A friend likes it so I let it go for 130. Her son RODE the saw with a dull chain now the AV allows the bar to flop. She brought the saw back. It's locked up sitting. I start it every month with fresh gas to keep it alive. I DON'T run it dry. IMHO the carb NEEDS fuel to keep the seals from drying out and cracking. The cs352 is a honey. I used it today. 14 inch bar. Filed the chain tonight. It's quick to file those 52 dl chains. The cs352 makes life easy. Yah!!!
