Husqvarna 346xp New Edition 50cc. Saw has seen little use. Starts easy runs, idles, revs just like new. Clean it and throw it on the shelf or work with it tomorrow. $550 shipped with the 18" bar and chain pictured. Bar and chain is in nice shape as well.

So MSRP on these was under $500... Pretty sure I paid $479 for the one I had. Traded for a Petzl saddle and felt I’d come out on top in the deal.

No offense intended, just curious how is it you expect to get 10% over the new price for a used unit in visually worn, decidedly imperfect condition? Just because they don’t make it anymore and it holds a warm place in husky fanboy hearts?

Methinks a good price would be more in the neighborhood of $350... ‍

Walkdog, some goods appreciate in value, and the 346 is no exception. From someone who sells a couple saws a year I am pretty familiar that I am asking a premium for my saw, check out what they are going for on ebay and I think you will find $500ish is a good deal. Remember you don't have to purchase this saw, however you are entitled to your opinion even if it is wrong.

Not sure that’s entirely apples to apples, but I concede the point. Are there sellers on fleabay overcharging and buyers willing to overpay for them? Definitely. But this isn’t eBay... Here you can find sellers like Lone Wolf offering 200Ts in great shape for $500 or less.

check out what they are going for on ebay and I think you will find $500ish is a good deal.

Maybe list it there then? There are surely good sellers on eBay, but I tend to be shocked what saws of questionable condition go for on there.
This, on the other hand, is a place with a more knowledgeable audience and an actual sense of community.
