Mine arrived with a cracked and broken handle. Missing a chunk which is not in the box. Contacted the seller and waiting for a response.View attachment 721335

Make a post Monday and let us know what is going on. I have been in contact with them a few times. My advice is not to start buying parts yet... let’s see if they send out another saw. They are a very big company but IMO will make it right. If you like send me your eBay handle in a PRIVATE MESSAGE and I will send a quick note to them also. What model did you buy?? 2166?Thanks Bill

I can send them a quick txt today if you like? Let me know what your eBay handle (name) and I will include that in my txt. I have had a few conversations with them and will be doing future business with them. Thanks Bill

I am debating getting a 2250. I have several saws in the mid 60cc range and am looking for something a little lighter when i don't need 65cc's. Not sure if its much lighter than my dolmar ps6000i though. The husky version (at home depot) of the Jred felt about the same weight as my dolmar.
I was # 2 in line on a light homeowner used Jred 2065 this week for $75 on craigslist.

Pretty sure the 2250 is couple lbs plus some lighter than the 6000, are you sure the one you lifted wasn't connected to one of those retracting wires lol.
The 2250 only has a bit over 3 hp(3.2 iirc), so as long as you don't plan on cutting anything much over 6-8" you shouldn't be disappointed. Id personally prefer to have one without the tooless chain adjuster.
If you mean your second in line on a lightly used 2065 for $75, thats a nice deal. That being said you'll be getting another 60 plus cc saw.

I would prefer to not have a toolless adjuster also. I use a stihl with one and I hate it. I realize it would have been another 60+cc but can you have too many? I would have put a 24" bar on one of them.

It's new, but as bill said I wouldn't buy anything for it yet, but would talk with them.
I mentioned the one on Ebay as a negotiating point.

Yes, I am not ordering anything at this point, waiting to see what the seller says. I just got back to cell service range and will PM BVdog shortly.

I txted the company this morning and heard back within minutes. The problem should be solved Monday and we should see a post telling us about the details. Since it was the weekend they did not look over the eBay info and they were very happy that I notified them of the problem. Ok let’s wait until tomorrow...thanks Bill

I have a question for the people that bought Jreds from the eBay deal. Are the saws being shipped in original boxes or repacked? If repacked how well are they being packaged ? Thanks Bill

Repacked. Mine was packed well with cardboard so it couldnt move. They used scoth tape on the bar to hold the chain to it which left a sticky residue behind that will need to be scrubbed off.
