262XPG - bought from across the pond in rough shape. Top end rebuild including meteor piston, caber rings, seals, fuel lines, removed base gasket and bearings all done by a reputable builder. Put in the KS cylinder and 87 carb, both of which came from a member here. The saw is not ported and is running a stock muffler. I don't have a compression gauge, but will stop by the local shop and get a compression reading ASAP, guessing between 170-180. Heaters work, saw oils and runs like a champ.

Will include the 20" TsuMura 3/8 .50 and a Forester pro 20" 3/8 .50 bar

$495 plus shipping. OBO

Heated handles are awesome in the cold weather. We do squeeze the blood out of our hands when gripping the saw to an extent.

Cut in the cold climate with no gloves I’ve done it.
I like them this time of the yr, when it's 40-50 and raining my hands get cold; if it's colder I've got gloves on, it can help then when its real cold, but I try not to cut when it's that cold :cold:.

@garrett.owens , did you get the compression reading?

When in the firewood business there’s no days off can’t be picky have to cut. The heated handles helps.

Did you notice the difference between a bomb cyclone and a blizzard? Was the bomb cyclone that bad?

Funny I’ve seen one real nor’easter snow storm in 78. And everything after is a nor’easter. Some I wouldnt even rate as a blizzard.

I hear you. Bomb cyclone sure made for a good news sound bite, seemed like a typical March snow here in CO. We had a March snowstorm in 2003 that produced 9 feet in three days... news called that a blizzard.

Nine feet of snow how do you dig out from that.? No wonder why the old houses had hatched on the roofs. Notice the barns were connected to the houses on the farms.
