I rebuilt my 385 Husqvarna Tillotson Carb due to years of never rebuilding. The saw was running perfect, and now the saw starts and runs but dies after a while. What suggestions do you guys have that I may try to get me saw back up and running? Also, what's the torque specs on the carb bolts? I only snug them up. Thank you

How long does it run before dieing?could be a tank vent.or if you replaced the metering lever arm that holds the needle maybe off.it needs to be level.one way to tell is pressure test the carb in a bowl of gas.see if there's any leaks.

To check your tank vent, when saw starts to die, turn saw on it's side and crack fuel cap. If saw runs correctly, it is the tank vent, like Brad said. I would also check for air leaks, use carb cleaner and spray by flywheel bearing seal, clutch bearing seal and cylinder base. Keep it away from air intake by removing top covers, is saw stalls, there is an air leak. Snug on carb bolts is fine.
