I’ve been looking at these for a while to help out in the woodlot. Finally pulled the trigger.

Is that a finish mower? I wonder how that ag tires will do on the lawn? I have a yard tractor I setup with ATV tires that have sort of an ag tire tread. For a year or two I used it to mow. It's since been setup just as a snowblower tractor and I got a zero turn mower.

Anyhow, I had to be careful, with the turf tires it'd just spin and do minimal damage to the grass. The ATV tires would trench in without even a warning. Or put the tractor right on it's tail!

Yea,your ROP is too high and looks out of place and they do not want you cutting and welding on it either...

I had a BX2660. More like a mower on steroids than a tractor, but I built a carry all for the 3 point. That and a bucketful filled the rack that I kept on the front porch. I got the industrial tires and had no problem with the grass. I called it the best wheelbarrow I ever had.

Nice I looked for a while myself and was sold on the kubota but ended up with a Massey Ferguson gc1705. It's also Japanese made just a bit simpler and it was a lot cheaper. I have the 60 in. finish mower and with r4 tires and plan on mowing with it. People say they are not real tractors but mine surprises me on how much it will lift and do. I made a 300lb 3pt concrete weight block and that really helps the tractor out.

Quick way to bring a little bit of fire wood to the house.

The rops makes a real nice Chain saw tree. just make sure the limbs over head are high enough to clear the rops.

I have R1's they are OK to go in a straight line on the lawn in the summer. I didn't buy it to be a lawn mower tractor. It is for doing dirt work with the bucket and a bit of fire wood carrying along with the trailer.

Just don’t turn around in your chair too fast and catch a chainsaw chain right in the face!

For those with forks, I strongly suggest a box to haul wood around. Holds much more than a bucket.

Mine holds exactly 1/3rd of a cord, approx. 5' x 3' x 3'. Smaller BX size tractors could be outfitted with a smaller box. If the lift capacity is real low, a dumping trailer could be used.

That's something I have not tried with a sub compact tractor. I'm not sure how well it would be with forks vs lifting capacity. I have had 400 to 500lbs sticking about 4 feet out the front of the bucket but I would not want to drive real far like that.

No chance of getting a chain saw chain in the face. they stick back farther than they look. Plus I normaly have the chain guard installed.

I have a Stihl worst money ever spent on a chain saw O28 AV. My Echo CS 400 is a lot better saw.

I have been giving thought to parting it out and making some of my money back.
