How good are the 576XPs, had a 394XP and regret selling. The 576 has come up local and is in good shape with a 20" Oregon B&C. And what would be a good price to give for it? Thanks
Your 460 Stihl will out cut it. The Hooskie air filtration & AV are superior to the 460 thoughAwesome! Thanks for the info. How does it compare to my MS460? They are asking $425 firm on the 576.
What? The first 576s to roll off assembly line had some issues. In general they aren't very good saws. Husky pulled the plug on them pretty quick. I've seen the cases on one fall apart around the main parts of the saw just from normal use. Personally for a 75cc saw it felt pretty chunky.
Clutch side bearing would spin in case pocket, causing an air leak. Do not believe mix had much to do with that.I think the biggest problem with the 570/575 is the oil mix is too lean. We’re running good used condition 570’s right now with no problems yet but we’re around 38:1 ratio. Time will tell I have 8/570’s.
