Seems to weigh just a little more than the T. This may be Japan's website as specs are metric, the model numbers differ and searching distributors starts in Asia. HP ratings and fuel consumption are nice to know.

I would be the weight difference would go unnoticed and the saw would probably be handier with a rear handle. The echo 361 is another small rear handle based on the echo 355 top handle saw.

I've seen some videos where the 2511T was hopping about in naction; chain chatter I believe it was called. Is there a positive cure for that?

Rakers too deep and Chain speed too low are usually the causes in my experience.
The only time I've noticed chatter is when trying to "Feather" a cut with aggressive rakers.
Gotta keep the saw balls out with an aggressive chain.

OTOH,..I've never used such a small saw as the 2511.

Smaller 1/4" chain will eliminate chain chatter, my guess is the 2511 is delivered with 3/8lo-pro which can be a little rough.

I have yet to change from the lo-pro chain but I have no doubt the .325 will be better. The chain supplied and a Carlton non safety chisel chain I bought both chatter. Seems like lack of chain speed too me.

Why not look at the cs355t? Is it a weight thing ?that thing is perfect for trails . I've felled some pretty large diameter trees way back in the woods with that thing.

Here is a pic of my tiny 2511 with 10" bar being squished in between a MS660 and a MS192T. With the 10" bar it will saw with the 192T. It starts easy, the 2511 almost fits in my cargo pants pocket and goes were I go. For its purpose it is amazing......

I bought a 2511t for trail creation and maintenance. I take it in hiking or on my ATV. Love it. At age 65, light weight is probably the most important factor for me. The only cons for me... first, the fuel/oil caps are ridiculously hard to remove. Why! What's up with that! Not a problem to remove with a scrench but then I have to go get the scrench. You can use the recoil rope handle but I haven't quite mastered that yet. Last thing is that I have experienced the chain chatter some. I am thinking I will get it ported and hopped up when I can find someone who can do it. Which might include changing the bar and chain. Mine came with a 12" bar, I would like to go to 14" after it's hopped up. This will be my most used saw as long as I am doing trails.

The chain hop is what turned me off to the purchase. Having an intermittent reoccuring carpel tunnel issue that seems like just the thing to send me to the surgeon. Too bad, I really wanted it but the first priority needs to be getting a saw that works properly rather than one the cuts the weight. Maybe the 355T is the correct replacement for my Husqvarna 335XPT.

Little peanut. Remember to shut it off before putting it in your pocket.

I got mine to clean up turning blanks, its a fun little saw. I wish it came with a lower profile chain.
I ended up fitting a 12 inch .043 bar and chain combo that was recommended here. It made a huge difference in smoothness!
Kind of irritating that it needs to be modified to really work well.
