I just layed the echo bar on the stihl and traced the holes. It didnt take much to open them up to fit. I did mine on a mill but a dremel would work just as well.

Saw this video with 1/4" chain and it looks pretty smooth.
I have not noticed chain hop with the 10" bar as it makes less cutters on the wood. These are very lite saws with not a lot of weight to hold the bar down so a little chain hop is expected, but it is not enough IMO to consider a problem.
Well worth it.
I can't speak for everyone but I took a 1/3 of the key away and opened the muffler pretty good and it definitely runs better. The carb tuning was kinda weird for me.

Tried the 2511T on again today for size, along side the Husky T525 and the wrap handle on the Husky seems much more natural. The Husky handle extends straight out before taking a dive down where the ECHO seems to curve almost immediately. It seems like the Husky would afford more control from the second hand on the tool.

Woodruff key fixes the location of the fan.flywheel.magnet to the crankshaft. Sprocket or gear keyed to shaft. Key stock can also be a square rod of sorts

What's the correct ignition timing of a 1957 Chevy Belaire with a 327 cubic inch engine with a 4 barrel carburetor?
It's not meant to be released in the US market any time soon. But I am working with a supplier in the UK to ship them to the US for those whom are interested.
I fired up my CS2511Tthis morning for it's first cuts. I had about a dozen junk trees that came up in my wife's flower beds. They were 1-1.5# diameter, and my compound loppers would have done the job, but if you have a new saw, why not use it! Nice power for the first cuts, and ample oiling with the adjustment in the middle.
I've posted this on the 2511WES thread, but thought that some others not following it closely may benefit from posting this here.
I know some folks in the US don't want to wait another potential 1-2 years for the ECHO 2511WES rear handled version of the 2511Tsaw, especially in 1/4". So, I informed Rob at ChainsawBars UK that he might have some Muricans wanting a 2511WES with a 1/4" set up. He's stated the demand is high in the UK since it is just released there, but he'll let some go stateside if folks don't mind that they can't be warrantied, and they pay the UK prices, plus £49.00 for shipping to most of the US. So keep the exchange rate and warranty in mind if you're wanting one of these puppies. So, as long as he has stock, this is the deal:
Chainsawbars.CO.UK have the link up for the Echo 2511WES's with Panther bars that run the Stihl 1/4 inch chain. There are several options you can piece together from the site and simply add them to your cart, as well as B&C and sprocket spares. The postage will be tallied at the end and there should be no tax when you enter your address outside of the EU. The 1/4 sprocket by itself as well as PHO should be up on the same page now for folks that want them for their 2511T's as well. The Panther bar is a nice bar that uses the same drive link set up their Stihl counterpart do. So you will have a saw that is ready to run if you go with that set up, or you can mod a Stihl bar later on if you wish and use the 1/4 sprocket on the saw and 1/4 loops of chain.

Bit late on this reply, but if anyone is having trouble with the caps being tight, the recoil handle is actually designed to act as a wrench on the caps. I'd prefer smoother caps, but echo loves their flat rubber washers, and it's tough to think of a time when you wouldn't have the starter handle easily accessible when you need to refuel!
I've always had my scrench with my fuel. Never did understand the flippy cap love thing.

The Echo T saws have the front handle going out just in front of the throttle trigger so if you hold your left hand at the front bar as close to the right hand handle as possible your fists meet up.
My Zenoah like 25cc have the front handle going out about 1/2" in front of that and it actually makes a difference, perhaps less beneficial to balance holding the saw only by the front bar but more beneficial to the feeling of control.
Would you say that the front handle/bar is slightly more forwards on the T525 or pretty much the same as the Echo?
