i have 2 20” full chisel chains that are brand new that was going to go on that 362. Would really like 20” bar so those chains don’t go to waste

Would this bar work on that 261. I was digging around in my shop and found this brand new Oregon 18” bar

This probably a dumb question but why would a .325 be better

Smoother (smaller teeth closer together), has more torque in the cut (sprocket is smaller). I've run my 261 with both 3/8 and .325 extensively, both as a stock saw and ported. For bucking 8-18" firewood, it's a great saw with 3/8 chain and a 16" bar. For limbing and thinning in the woods, I prefer a .325 setup.

Thanks for the info I have a brand new Oregon 18”bar
