I'll always have a 50cc or 2 in my line up. I cut a lot of trees with many limbs and it's great to have a small easy to maneuver and light saw for the task. All the limb wood goes to me for my freestanding stove and the biggies go to my brothers or grandparents boilers. I'll likely always have a 70cc too for the bigger trees and noodling. This all one tree. My morning profect.

You doing all the work and only walking away with the limb wood? AWSOME SAW!

I feal the same way about 60cc’s. If i want a light weight i grab a 60cc. But i wont lie. 90% of my saw time is on my 385.

I guess that depends on what size of wood you are usually cutting, and how big and strong you are ;)
My copy cat 038/380 have awesome torque with a 16" bar, but lightweight, compact and nimble aint exactly it...

I was not trying to belittle anyone if it was taken that way. Just sharing my thoughts [emoji1303][emoji1303][emoji41]

Unless I absolutely need a bar longer than 18", my 261 is the saw I grab! Love me some 50cc action!

The 261 is hard to beat . I found myself using a 261 to cut and limb and the 440 stays in the shop until it’s time to cut everything 48” in the yard . 261 might be a little slower getting threw the bigger stuff but it does do it and the lighter weight at the end of the day is a savior

50cc is actually the biggest I take with me.

I carry a 31cc, 40cc and 50cc for the REALLY BIG stuff. Lol

I use my ported Echo 310 until I can't see the end of the bar then I grab a monstrous 18".

I was thinking the same thing. I just started running 50 cc saws more often and the newer models have gotten a little heavier but a lot more powerful. My old 55 wouldn't cut near as well as my 346 or 545 mark 2. But they are still lighter and more compact than the 60 cc chassis and that helps your back.
