No climbing today so this was my load out. The 038 shares the 20” bar/chain with the 362 until I decide what length bar to buy for it...am thinking about 25” atm.

This shows the saws cleaned and prepped for tomorrow; about 90mins of sharpening there. I enjoy using the round file but fu*%$ng hate the flat file. If a groundie is about scratching his arse I get him to do the flat file work :buttkick:

Ported 385 came with me to cut up some pallets. [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23].

Sent while firmly grasping my redline lubed RAM [emoji231]

Lol...those hardwood pallets are a bastard...I can’t blame you for doing a 10 stack at a time :chainsaw:

Halved some big birch rounds in wood pile with MS441C 25” full comp chain and new to me MS461 28” skip chain! Man, that is a fun way to reduce weight of those heavy rounds and makes lots of nice shavings! Then cut down some beetle kill spruce with MS360. Good day of recreational chainsaw cutting.

i keep a chusky ported 372 with a 272 popup
and a 24" bar
in the truck with me all the time.
the only way i get to work or back home
is to clear tree's out of the road.View attachment 780569
I have the same problem. I’m the last house on a 10 mile long seasonal road that only has 3 houses total so they plow once usually when the storm is done beyond my house doesn’t get plowed. I carry an old reliable 028 that’s all beat up in the back of the truck at all times

20 miles to town and the wvdoh and apco stopped cutting tree's back from the road's in
the 90s
before then they did a much better job.
they trim mostly and with all the dead ash and maturing and dying tree's combined with high winds and rainstorms.
it's very common for blocked road's.20191201_132312.jpg
