Manufacturer would be cast into the base of the jug. Did you not pull it to grind on it, or you just didn't look while it was off?

I completely disassembled it, but don't remember what was on the base - probably because it said Mahle or Stihl and I didn't think anything of it. I would have noticed if it had been anything different.

A standard sprocket nose is as light, just don't last quite as long, or look as cool lol.
If you cut a lot then theres an advantage to them but in a small mount there really isn't much of an advantage for the normal user, in a large mount I see no reason not to have them unless you're cutting lots of storm damage or stumping.

I think my first priority for a solid milled bar if I think practical use and not "bling" is a 20" for my 7910/Granberg minimill, perhaps a Cannon would be suitable for that purpose if they have one that fits? Needs to be solid and stiff anyway, the more weight the better.

When I think of something like that I think of the cannon or GB bars. I have a GB frostbite bar that I don't think will ever wear out .

They don’t have to stay grungy I actually like cleaning them when done, I stop short of polishing though.
