I will work on it this eve. I rebuilt a 395 and when setting gap on coil i used a business card and had no spark at all. I used a dollar bill folded once and it fired right up. If i take cap off fuel tank and put back on the saw should at least start and it didn’t so i have an am carb I’m going to swap out just to see if it makes a difference. I wonder when they make these carbs are they anywhere close to right settings when they package ? Do the China mans test them at all ?

Of course not. Lol. I’m actually in the process of putting all my operational huztl equip on a set of husky cases. My head bolts might came loose or something. Some how I sheared a head bolt. Luckily caught before cooked my top end FYI....if you get your saw tuned just right n next time you use it the tune is way off an wont come back into adjustment, ya got a problem. That was the second bolt that broke off n had a couple less important bolts stripped out. The China cases are in the dumpster. Along with the majority of the Chinesium Bolts.

Btw I dunno what the consensus here is with the huztl coils but just a heads up I’ve never used one on mine. I bought used non-limited coil from the beginning. So I can’t speak to the coils. I made a decision early on with mine anything that looks feels inadequate was replaced in the beginning. Intake boot clamp, recoil spring, pull cord decomp and more. Anything that fails prematurely will be upgraded as I go. If I were you or anyone planning to buy one I’d expect to do the same.

How does the 52mm old timer cylinder compare to the 50mm x-torq one? I just thought that buying the cheaper 365 and a big bore kit and the bigger air filter could be a way to go.
76cc and a muffler mod should improve things a tad or what?

Yea it’ll make one loud A$$ Saw ! I’m looking for answers on that too. I’ve only tried huztl cylinder on this saw. I’m running 52. But I got a 50 sitting here in the box. I think I’m gonna put 52 back on until it needs replacing.

Ok this eve for giggles i stuck the new carb on it and reset or adjusted coil a little closer to flywheel. Saw has good spark and i put a little fuel in plug hole and it hasn’t even hit. I’m tired of pulling on it. With the fuel in the cylinder it should have at least fired. It has fuel it has spark. Timing problem ? I just don’t know
