This is just a feeler, i feel weird about it. but for some reason my addiction is getting the best of me.

I would like to see what all the fuss is about with the newer husqvarna stuff.

Will consider trade for a newer year 562xp. And maybe even a 550xp mark ii. My stable is missing a truly great limbing saw. And those 2 look very promising.. Not interested at all in early year junk.

Maybe even a mint full oem 346

One other saw i would consider is a 572xp. Not sure i would have enough boot on my end tho as a straight up trade..

If anybody is interested just comment and ill give a full rundown of the 046mag..

Maybe you have a different top cover, but the plastic tagged "0" series Stihls were later models. If it's original you may want to change your title.

Not quite sure i underatand what your saying..never heard of a 46 magnum lol

I realize that. The early model 046s had metal ID tags and D shaped combustion chambers.

Ahh ok. Never knew that.. It has a 137 s/n along with d jug. Full oem except for piston. Ive already tore it down.. You sure you are not confusing it with a 044? I know those had a metal tag that switched over to plastic but as far as i know all 046s came with a plastic tag..20191214_114838.jpg

That could be. My Stihl-foo is not as strong as some other disciplines

Same....but with husqvarna.

And on a side note your username just clicked to me... For some reason ive been thinking it says something to the effect of "culinary review" haha

Don't let the internet buzz on the five series bother you. I had the supposed worst of the worst of the 562s. Five bolt case, EL-46 carb. It ran fantastic. Had the muffler shoved into the cut end of a huge red oak making noodling cuts for firewood. It got HOT, so hot the bar oil ran like water. It never leaked a drop and re-started with ease. Updated firmware is as or more important than the "right" components.

575 at work has been nothing but reliable when it should be junk from what ive read.

Here is a early 046 d chamber I'm building it has a plastic tag and has a d chamber. I ha've never seen a metal tag 046 personally. Stihl 046 ipl don't show a metal tag 046 either Screenshot_20200113-185848.png

Damn shes clean..and same. Never seen a metal tagged 046. Alabama cracker here. Lol
Cool not many people know what it means either. Yeah on 046 it was a very clean saw. I had it re powder coated flywheel side case half was cracked cylinder was trashed and crank rod bearings were gone. I found a case half on eBay for it sent it to be repowdered dual ported muffler built bottom end put a bigger carb a hd8 on it and I had one more d chamber cylinder left and sent it to rattler work saws to be ported to add to my collection. I got a 044 mm as clean a 361 a 341 a 241c that are clean like that. The rest of my sawz are work saws not shelf saws

If you want a limbing saw get a 261c or a 241c. Or a 5105 dolmar in 50cc class. I'd go 361 or 036 or 6421 in dollar in 60 c.c. class I'm just not a husky fan myself. The best saw husky ever made imo was the 50cc 346. You may wanna consider one of them.

I got a raggedy 346 and we still use them at work..i had a 550xp that i loved when it would start, it was one of the first gens. I just rebuilt a hd9 for mine this morning. Havent put it on yet but the china carb i put on mine while i was waiting to rebuild the hd9 seems to work perfect. Will see if the hd9 has any gains over the china carb. And yeah ik all to well what it means due to some poor choices in my younger life. Nice to meet ya.
