I've still yet to run an XPW, but I have read they're dogs out of the box relatively speaking. Maybe this is due to them being a concrete saw jug? I don't know, but I have a new cylinder in a box on the shelf so I'll find out one of these days.
Next time you stop by you can run mine if you'd like, it's all stock right now, but when I swap everything over to the 365 special chassis it will get a MM and base gasket delete.
Cutting this ash is the closest thing we get to cut that's like concrete lol.

I also have total/tsumara reduced weight bars in 24x.050 and an EXL chain I can add to the box for another 100.
I think brett heats his house 100% black locust cookies[emoji1787][emoji1787][emoji1787]

Somehow I just saw this post.
No, I use a lot of ash, cherry, oak, and even some elm and maple cookies to heat the house too .
Sometimes when I'm real desperate I'll use a few splits :chop:.

Is that one of the purdy ones with hardly any blemishes that barely gets used?

All of his saws are!:hi:

nah...some have a few nicks here & there & that's ok

The 359 I bought a few years ago went on to get Delerized & now is doing firewood duty for another member
& the 193T I bought 4 years or so ago has been trouble free.

Both not purdy but in overall good condition

The 2166R I bought in December was purdy however

Now wait a minute, that 193t was pretty dang clean. I'd image its still very clean.
But I'm glad they are all working well for you :).

Not perfect condition, but nicefb970b0c9db2d3a84f42aac10465094c.jpg

here is a pic of 359 I bought years ago0114c74c7fe690b5db08c13bd6f19b89.jpg

Replaced the clutch cover & that's about all that was done cosmetically(maybe the muffler was painted). But since I wasn't going to run the saw
what was done to improve its performance was more important.

The point of my original post was that Brett has many different saws for sale: From the pristine to the rough. He clearly states any imperfections that
he can find.

Thanks Mark I know I don't like surprises unless its something that looks better than expected. Hope you put a 455/460 clutch cover on there, its a nice upgrade.
One saw does not count, it's a Stihl, they always look like crap after one use. Jonsered, I think you just stuck it in snow, it will melt off. Is that your neighbors tree he cut down? :buttkick::yes::cheers:
Lol.
I do need to drop some for the guy I share a drive with, been waiting for the ground to freeze up. Their nothing to big so I'll probably be able to use a saw you built . May get the 372xt you built out with a 20, would be a nice combo. May need the 241 though gotta check for sure, the one is half rotten and I need room to set the hinge with a bore cut, then still have room for a trigger. Can do it with a wider bar, but when its finished it looks like a modified farmers cut .
