Noice. What year is the 500i and how about to Australia or New Zealand please? Also, thanks for all the saws you've put up for sale over the months/years , it's a great way of hooking another Mother chainsaw Brotha up.

It's a Nov 2019 build date. I'll ship it to pretty much anywhere in the world for the same price. Our shipping just works that way.

I hope everyone is digging the saws. I have a lot of fun getting to see them pass through.

These are good prices for here in the states, down undah these are stellar prices. Though the AUD is in the tank now and the NZD is even worse. I would jump on them. The 462 non-MT is tempting me, as is the 500i. Someone posted above for a carb 500i, but they do not come that way. The i models are injected only. In the states the 462 is only available in MT.

Cheers Scott. Disregard that fella asking about the carb 500 model - he's a beer short of a six-pack.
Hey, I still have the 310 you bought and sent me all those years ago. It's a sentimental favourite even if it only gets run occasionally.

Glad you still have that 310. Of the 1127 saws, that is by far the best one. I sold my last 310 over 4 years ago that you bought me the clutch drum for. I still have some of the files that you sent me as well.

I want to swap out my 660 for a 500i or 462. I want lighter saws now. Though they are threatening to ban logging and diesel trucks in Oregon now.

@Spoon Carving With Tom

here's your chance to get into the 500i cheaply.

I'm waiting on a reply from a mate who was talking about a 500i the other day. The 462c would be a better fit for him though.
Thanks mate :) kinda have my heart set on a 660 now after messing around with them!!

Stellar deals. Mr. Dan sent me a couple more loops just the other day. Faster than I could have made time to get from my local dealer, at a fraction of the price, from half a world away. Based on the postage, I think I need to send him a few more bucks, as I am now CONVINCED he is loosing money on these deals. Or perhaps, just perhaps, he is really a Stihl Greek God, is not about doll-hairs (dollars AvE fans...), and just wants to bless all of us on the forum???!!!???

Wow. I guess if we live long enough we see a few firsts, but this one is a surprise to me. Mate just got back to me saying a 500i is about only $50 more if buying from a NZ dealer. I couldn't believe it so had to check for myself. Like Scott mentioned above the exchange rates are terribly against us at the mo but I think Stihl NZ must have decided to really push this model saw here and discount it for there to be so little difference. I'm shocked. There have been times I have been able to buy new, ported, and sent to NZ for about the same as shelf prices here.

But good luck with the sale AlfA01 .

Contemplating my 462 purchase from Dan at the moment. Perhaps in the end it was a bad call, and I should test the 500i out??? LOL!
That's why buying all three makes good sense, you try them all and then make a decision. For many I think they'd decide to keep them all ;).

Alright fellas, I have to take the time to address an issue. I hate to have to do these things, but it seems that me posting these saws for sale here has ruffled some feathers so severely that someone decided to report me to Stihl USA.

I received a phone call from one of my dealers addressing that someone from the forum had called Stihl USA and informed them that I was dealing saws online. That is not true, so I hope whoever has done this will come forward so we can clear the matter with true and full disclosure.

At least, I'd like that person to take responsibility for their actions. I like to be transparent in all my transactions. I want clear the air here for everyone that believes they have a right to control what I am doing with my personal property.

So, I am in no way a dealer, distributor, nor am I in anyway affiliated with Stihl, Husqvarna, Dolmar or any other brand. I'm a private seller, selling privately owned saws. I have a right to sell my personal property as I see fit.

I buy saws from multiple sources and I either keep them, or sell them as I please. I also buy parts from multiple sources and I also provide those to members that have requested them.

I do not live in the US and I do not need to abide by the laws of any country, except those of the country/union I live in. In the EU it is legal for even dealers to sell Stihl products online. There was a recent court in France that has established this for all the EU.

Where to go from here? I won't be posting any new saws for sale on this forum for the time being. The jealousy, hatred and ill-intent of a few spoil things for the many....it's a shame, really.

PM me if you need anything....
