My Mastercraft 3400 has a 3800 top end but the Skil version does not.

A number of the Canadian versions I have are factory repaints as well. Both of the 3400 (3700 top end) Poulans have yellow saw cases with the rest being green.

I have a 4400 Poulan that is all red under the green paint. The saw was made in the US but has a Canadian SN sticker on the rear handle.

It seems all of the units that were assembled at the Skil plant in Toronto have crappy paint adhesion.

Both of my yellow Mastercrafts suffer from crappy paint adhesion.

Today’s gifts ! I’ve never had a 361 before . I believe this is the loudest saw I have . The little one seems to have an AV problem at first glance .

The second arched exhaust port has been de arched! Took 1 hr and 35 minutes from start to finish with 2 phone calls interpretations. Both the yellow Twins have be de arched. And they do run stronger.

Crap, I never checked the squish on the second on. Well got to have lots of things for tomorrow.

First yellow 3400 is now .023 squish

Grey black 3800 is .040 now.

Need to de arch my other 3400 and remove the base gasket's from that and two 3700s.

Dang Gary, you have been busy. That lil xxv will be louder, my opinion. It'll sound like a pissed off bee.
An old friend called and said he had a couple of old green saws he didn’t have a use for anymore. He said come get them out of his way . I solved his problem for him.

Well fellas. Picked up another one. View attachment 801616

This one has seen more use. Pulled muffler off and it is a thick ring like my other one. Was gonna do some measuring but at the moment can’t find my dang calipers so the search is on for those.

It has begun:) your life is now set on a different course

I need to cool it for a little while until I figure out where I’m gonna put all these things as they get cleaned up and fixed up. I will say I’m addicted though lol.
Yep that’s how it starts. I started with McCulloch saws, then one day I found a Poulan. Now my eyes are drawn to anything green lol!

I actually ended up with 2 McCulloch’s with a bunch of parts saws I took off a guy a little while back. Have no idea what either are. The one is one of the older ones with the gas tank on top but the tank is missing. I know nothing about them. It supposedly ran.

Photos?

This is the older one. I’m not even sure what all is possibly missing to it. The one in the background I believe is a 3200?? There are some plastic pieces in a box I have that I believe go to it but it’s been butchered up pretty good. I can run out to the shop and get some more pictures if need be.

From the evidence presented I do believe you're guilty of McCulloch negligence lol.

Bla bla lol you got a 310 or variant and I do believe a pm10-10 by the look of the handle and carb a photo of the 10 series from other side would confirm. If still ok compression you have a great saw sitting there and should be easy peasy to fix up. Garden variety 10 series parts easy to find
