Thanks fellas I’m gonna wait for new carb kit and check it out then. I hate tearing motors apart without the parts to put them back together. Hopefully this is it and I can move to the next

This is a waste of everyone's time, and could be easily fixed!
If and when I ever tire of an ArboristSite email notification I'm perfectly capable of removing the notification!
@ Jerry; Can you address this?

Sorry, site owners are not responding.

Mine works as it should with both a laptop and a phone. Make sure you have the "Stay Logged In" box checked the next time you actually log in. Or log out and log back in again with the box checked. I think there is a time lapse restriction if you haven't visited the forum for awhile, but it should work if you at least check in every coupla days or so.

Hi Guys,

So I am chasing a Pioneers Holiday at the moment and I am looking for some information about them.

I'm in Australia what do you think the Pioneer Holiday's are worth and are they collectable at all ?

Apparently it was running before the starter handle broke.

Cheers

justin

Don`t know what one in Australia is worth or if collectible, but here where they were made in numbers they are a dime a dozen, most collectors have one or more in the stable.

That HolidayII appears to be a G model as it has the stack instead of a muffler, likely a manual pull type choke. There is also a GT model that has a quiet tone muffler and a rear mounted push type fuel primer, the GTA has a quiet tone muffler, push type primer and an automatic bar oiler. These conditions only apply if the saw is stock non altered, parts are interchangeable between them all, they were a tough 58 cc saw, we had two of them along with a couple 1100`s

STACK is associated with a Very good pair of ear muffs

Are you looking to sell one or more or just rubbing it it that you stumbled on good stuff you didnt know you had?
Just trying maybe to spark up some conversation on Reeds , members expierences or knowledge about subject.
No intent to rub anything in of course.
As far as selling any at this point. No but thanks for asking Paul

And that is why they were named 2 stage, thin smaller Reed for low speed response and larger Reed for top end.

l have never run a saw with these performance Boyesen Reed setup . Were is the sweet spot in noticeable engine response,. low end torque , overall mid range performance or higher rpm's or all the above.
