That’s a different saw than the OP has, yours being a Poulan 3700 painted red & labeled Craftsman, definitely not a Roper.

You’re lucky in that parts are readily available for that one.Try 358.354830 for a Sears parts list & owners manual, I’m not sure what’s up with your label model number.

I see you started a new thread about cold start issues.
Thank you!

I see you started a new thread about cold start issues, but you will get a lot more replies if you post in the “Nik’s Poulan Thread” sticky thread.
Thank you for the information!

Are you choking it when cold engine? I've used gas additives like "Seafoam" in both 2&4 stroke engines to help clean out fuel tanks that sit in out buildings over the winter. My saws, mowers, tractors & motorcycles have all liked the "Drygas" type additives as well as Stabil. Before Stabil I had a lot of fuel cleanout work.
Checkout the guy who has a Youtube shop, explains everything with video. He drinks a beer and is entertaining. Someone here knows the guy. I think he's from Canada and has a Stihl banner.

Thank you! I do follow that guy on YouTube that you mentioned! Yes, I think it's a fuel problem... Carb and fuel lines are clean... New spark plug and fresh premium fuel (32:1) and still having hard time starting it.... I'm going to look at some more options.... Thanks!

I've also learned it's easier to buy the cheap knock off carbs than rebuild the originals. I think I paid less than $20 for the whole fuel package (carb & line w/filter) and new air filter for an old 026. It's worked fine for a year now. It came from a USA seller off Ebay shipping included. Came in a few days, no long China shipping.
Have you squirted a little gas right in the carb when it's cold? I do that with a couple old saws without primer bulbs. Easier than yanking 10 or more times with my bad back. Cover is easy to put back on quickly. Good luck

Hello Woojr. I received your message on eBay about my Homelite saw. I do appreciate and understand your comments. I find that eBay is VERY difficult to deal with as a Canuck who wants to list on USA site because that is where the market is. I have a few other saws I need to sell because at age 77 I'm not up to much chainsawing any more. Can we connect via email? Mine is 'coldstonetruth2011' at 'gmail' dot 'com'Homelite2.jpg
