Welcome to AS Brad.
Not sure if that's a limiter to prevent damaging the anti vibe mounts/saw, but it looks like one. Was it broken like that when you got it, the saw looks pretty clean.
Is your dad holding the broken piece, those are some older looking hands for a 25yr old lol, but maybe I'm wrong.

@pioneerguy600 can we get this moved to the chainsaw forum.

Hi, yes was broken like that when i openend it, thought i would ask on here to see if anyone knew what it was or if it was important or not. I contacted the company i ordered it from but they haven't got back in touch yet, im hoping to send it back and get a replacement. Haha i took the picture and the father in law held the piece.

That's a bummer, it's also a 2019, not sure if there were any upgrades on the 2020, but I'd want the latest model I could get if I was buying new unless there were known changes that negatively effected the newest models( I haven't heard of any though).
So I went and looked at my 572 and that particular piece doesn't appear to limit the AV. The AV limiter is just above that with the post that goes into the hole being attached to the handlebar. Maybe they will have another limiter like that when they make that chassis into a 90cc saw , we can be hopeful right :).
I was wondering, those hands didn't look like the hands of a 25yr old .

The hole helps the clutch cover lineup, it may add some strength and keep the cover from flexing. If you look at the clutch cover you can see the nub that fits in there. My guess is the cover took a hit during shipping definitely not something you want to see on a new saw, even though I doubt it will affect anything negatively.

I looked at that, but I didn't see any relevance or the nub, not saying it doesn't or isn't there though lol.
When you doing some more vids. I'll get some up this month most likely, just getting into some firewooding now that the temps are dropping.
Today I'll be running a few 372's, got another 365oe on the way too .

Waiting on the weather to cool down as well, plus I hope to have a 500i soon.

Yes the clutch cover has a piece that goes in that hole lol. You made me go out and look just to make sure.

I gotta head down your way today for a birthday party(only about half way though), I know it's gonna be even hotter, so I'll be rolling in the only vehicle thats drivable currently with AC, it's too hot for me :baba: .
Sweet, I have another 462 on the way, not having one didn't last too long lol. I still haven't ran a 500 yet.

Well it's good to be sure :).

Warm and humid and it's going to stay that way most of this coming week. Where about are you headed? I'm 15 minutes from downtown Cincinnati.
We were in Ft Wayne, had a nice time, then drove home.
Supposed to cool off next weekend here, that seems like a long way off, my "power band" is much lower than these temps lol.
