Looking for a 12 by 16 brush that doesn’t start at 85$. Am I just going to have to get this one? With shipping and tax will be well over 100& Thanks

What are you burning in that's using that large of a chimney?
Chimney is probably 30+ years old built for open fireplace before all these modern heaters and inserts came into being. It does have a clay liner. He is using a insert now. Don’t know manufacturer.

I can't imagine that chimney that oversized works very well unless it's for a huge boiler system, like a factory uses.
For a normal stove or fireplace, It should have a 6 or 8" liner put in... that'll be cake to do... hot dog down a hallway!

An 8" chimney is ~5x less volume, 6" is ~7x.
