Any idea what model this J-red is? It may or may not be crossing my bench in need of repair and I'd like to know the model before I am asked if I'll touch it.

Yep that's a 90 fer shur. Great saw but like all these old soldiers...all parts are NLA.....not to say they can't be found NOS or used...just saying from a repair shop point of view, it's info you might want before taking on the project.

I've got a nice factory wrap on my 90 I'd trade straight across.
That's the good one my helper broke throwing posts on top of it.
You'd need to get it all cleaned up to value it. Compression check etc. Away from eBay I wouldn't offer more than $200....more like $150. You could be searching a long time for parts depending on what it needs. You won't find the correct used recoil handle at any of the usual sources....they've been out of those forever.

If you read the description it says "brand"......Performance Saw Supply.....I googled it and that brand is a part/affiliate of 'Lil red Barn.....so no indication where these come from, but again I suspect India....
You're probably correct on that. I bought that new SEM's module from them for the Husky 2100 and when I asked the 'Lil Red Barn guy where it was made, he got all pissy with me. Never did get an answer.

Sorry I'm not finding any just now either on ebay, sawagain or chainswr......when looking remember that one from an 820, 830, 920 or 930 will also fit...
It's a waiting game for OE parts;might be three on ebay in one week and then not again for a yr....lol.
There was a seller on eBay getting rid of lots of J'reds stuff. I can't remember his name, but you go to his store and it was remarkable what he had. But he was in to other marques too. I didn't bother to bookmark him, sorry. Maybe try the sellers listing J'reds stuff and go into their eBay stores, if they have them

Well, well.....been looking for this little gem for at least five yrs. I'm hoping it was the same size for the 80 bottom louver muffler as well. I asked the seller to measure it for me.

Holy ****!! That looks exactly like the one I bought yrs ago that "had compression" and the only thing it had was a case FULL of water! Lol.......
What you're seeing there is a saw worth $25-$50 including shipping. I'd pay $5 just to hear its real provenance story.....I bet it's a whopper!
