Found this 24in Husq bar in the gutter/apron entrance to a 7/11 store. Forgot about it till I drug it out today. Had to jump on it a bit to remove a bow but otherwise I think it will work. Gonna tape up the Husq writing that's visible, sand down the rest and repaint. I see some stencils for 6 bucks on EBAY but think I''ll keep this a NO dollar project. Now just need a good 65CC Poulan or Pioneer to hang it on.....hmmm

I found an 18” husky bar in the road. Never know what you’ll find

I don't know this dude, just saw this post on Facebook. Looks like he might have had a small engine repair business or bought out supplies from one. From the map, he shouldn't be but about 20 miles from me. I am almost tempted to make him an offer on all those carbs. I am going to try to post the link, but not sure if I will be able to. I will try to go look at anything and get it for you to ship, if he doesn't.
Small Engine / Chainsaw Parts on FB

Here's a picture of the carbs, some I can see appear to never have been opened. A lot of Walbro's in there

Hey guys I just put my nice 336 in the trading post section if anyone interested. I will try here for a couple days before I list it elsewhere.View attachment 880884
I have thought about changing tank, top covers and installing large intake and carb to see how the thin ring 54cc does compared to the single ring 3450 and 330 but can't bring myself to tear this saw apart being what it is.

Here are a few of mine in that series which is my all time favorite of any saws and the most firewood supplying saws I have ever owned. I've had more new NOS ones than I will ever remember before I owned them lol. Some were of the shelf from Farm and Fleet, some were of the shelf from TSC and some were off the shelf from a very kind elderly dealer of pioneer and poulan out of North Webster Indiana that is gone now. I remember seeing a wrapped pallet of 505's sitting there in boxes as tall as me but I already had 2 NOS 505's I just purchased. My NOS countervibes that are long gone before I found this site were from the local Coast to Coast. One of my dads life long friends worked in their repair shop and when they sold out he went to farm and fleet so we had a inside guy for a good amount of time right through the beginning of TSC after Farm and Fleet sold out. He is gone now also.
Heck of a post and a resounding endorsement of this fine series!
I may eventually have a 5th runner, if I ever find a top cover and a few other bits.

2 more 54cc heading out to a new owner. Spikes zip tied to hand guards.

Gave him a choice of the 3 nicest C 3.3 ones for one of those. Plus the 2 20" bars with craftsman on them in 325. I like using 16" 325. Only locals ever want the 20" bars.

What I been using for awhile now as packing. Water bottles. Way of reusing them and protection.
