How hard are these to rebuild? Do I need any special tools to split the case for gaskets, bearings, and seals? T- handle Allen for the jug bolts in guessing? TIA

You need to make a tool to split the case. It went from i need a flywheel to full rebuild? Flywheel looks fine, unless the magnet broke loose? The Basch ignition will ultimately fail at some point if it already hasn't.

Isn't there supposed to be cooling fins on the fly wheel? These appear to all be broken off.

I should have, but what broke the fins in the first place? IMO the Bosch is a POS, but I. Some cases repaired by replacing the capacitor. You can search for the fix
 
I don't know what broke them. There's nothing that I see. I'm guessing it was awhile ago and someone cleaned it up. It's my buddies saw, he said it slowly died. Compression was low, somewhere around 50psi when I checked it awhile ago. Wouldn't even try to fire. Had some weak spark when I checked it. Do these have a problem not working under psi? There's some wear on the piston, I was thinking if it got hot and compromised the seals and or coil.

I have piston and cylinder used in good shape that will blow 140 to 150 psi and the fan assembly

I took the cylinder off, and the ring is stuck in one spot with some scratches. The cylinder looked good still with cross hatching visible. No visible scratches or groves.

Will the difference with the plastic insert matter for the starter?
