OK, SRN is confused. The little voices in his head are apparently of no use. Frankly, if those little voices are of no use in this matter, I'd get rid of them.

BTW, Stihl 460 is out because he has one. Husky 362XP is out because of his frustration with one.

So, help out our friend!

lots of good choices

If SRN can handle the 880 weight, go for it. Go big or go home:cry:

btw, if he didn't have a 460. My vote would have been the 440:) :) :)

I've taken that out of my choices due to the reliablity issues Niko!!!! I'd love another one, but not for this task, I want to cut wood, not wonder if it's going to run!

I voted for the 660. He didn't mention a price limit. I'd sure take a new one of those over an 880. Seems like your quiver needs one to go with the 046. Keep it stock with the dual port and it should really hold it's resale value too if you keep it nice.
The 7900 is sure the best bang for the buck, or make one from home depot with parts from your pals and you are only out $425 or so. What kind of budget are we working with?

79

What else is there for an all around saw you can use for everything that's this size??? Neck, I can't even believe you can pose this question knowing you've run the 79 before. Do you need to watch my video again??? lmfao :dizzy: I'm surprised at you... :jester:

Well to go with what 166 said

I voted for the PS5100 for SRN cause if its tooo fast he could always swap the coil out for one from a PS510 to slow her down a thousand RPM LOL

Scott

I voted for the 660 also.

This saw would be a great heirloom to hand down to bubba.

(Maybe the saw could circulate, among the AS members,
and we could all autograph it !!!)
What a way to ...
(GO OUT WITH A BANG !!!)

:hmm3grin2orange:

Went with the 441. I just don't know about the others. So... Go with what you know.

Not sure it you get into really big wood, but it sure makes a great firewood saw. Easy on the fuel, quick to rev up, and just all around fun saw to run, at our elevation. I think you would enjoy it. Then you could sell that 460 to me!

Oh great, another poll without the venerable XL-76.

When are you guys gonna let me play...

PS Where can I get a NOS kit for "little big red"?:greenchainsaw:

PPS No "etc" please, she's all I got so etc is not an option:)
