Stihl ms210 problem

I bought this saw back in july, and it ran ok nothing too special. I know its a light duty saw, but still.

fast forward to Dec the ice storm hits and I need it.

saw wont run right, so I drained the gas replaced the plug still boggs down when running, not cutting just slowly giving ti gas. so I started adjusting the screws and get it where it would run, now it wont cut even twigs without bogging down and having to fan the trigger.

so I took the saw in for warranty wait 20 days got it back today. I take a large log with me to try it at the shop to see how it cuts, runs good, good idle, I take it home.

I take it out of my truck, get ready to finally clean up my yard. thing runs just as bad as I did when I took it in:bang:

Im pretty sure it was the same gas that I put in it, when I took it to get repaired.

what can I look for, adjust, replace?
or should i just take it back in and wait 2 more weeks to get it back?

What did they say was wrong with it?
 
so I call another Stihl dealer and asked if they could look at it, they said ok as long as it was registered with Stihl

so I drop it off and 4 hrs later its fixed:D

he said some air/fuel valve(correct me if Im wrong) had come off inside the casing.

anyway it cuts better than it ever has.

It probably came off of the nipple on the rear handle.

where can i find a pic of this impulse line?

Here is a photo showing the impulse line (small ribbed nipple) with the intake boot and plastic gizmo that is between the orange handle/carb mount and the cylinder. The impulse line is hard to see when it is on the saw; if you take the starter cover off you can just see it connected to the base of the cylinder above the coil. The other side connects to a plastic doo-hickey on the orange handle that connects to a hole at the bottom of the carb through the intake boot.

Boots, nipples and holes, oh my!
 
Yeah, check your impulse line out, maybe it disconnected. Also your carb may need disassembly and good cleaning, especially if there was old fuel in it. Gasoline/Mix Gas only lasts 30-45 days and it goes sour. No, the mix gas that was sitting on the shelf for the last 6 months in the gargage doesn't qualify as fresh gas either.

Don't any of these other Stihl dealers go through the engine check sheet? Anytime our shop gets a Stihl product in (under warranty or not) with engine toubles we go through the engine check sheet, and document everything. It covers our shops ass, and gives the customer piece of mind.

trouble with ms210 stihl chainsaw

this saw run high idle cant ajust some take about impulse line this one get two line comeing out of the gas tank one going to the carb the other one just there. and it want open up
