Hey out west: Happy Birthday alderman.

Hi Alderman! Been a long time since we talked. Haven't been on AS much the last few years, but I'm still using Shindaiwas over here in the Coast Range! Long story, I'm looking for a muffler for a 488. Any leads, preferably in the mid-valley?

Kinda new to building saws i have a 365 I bought blowed up put nwp bb kit on it runs like a champ. Recently ran across a 372xp got it today guy ran it to lean and burnt it up. Going to get the nwp kit for it but I am curious what else I can do to it? Dual port muffler I know but how do I go about getting it ported and what do I need to do so I don't burn it up? Thanks hope to hear back

I have a shindawia 500 and the kill switch doesn't work. The saw starts and runs great but the only way to shut it off is to remove the spark plug boot. I replaced the switch and the problem continues. Any ideas?

Thanks Rich for the rep! Those Super 250 pics (and the saws) are RandyMac's. I believe that 40-Fuel is all he uses now. Too expensive for me. I don't wanna run E10 gasoline in my saws, so it's aviation gas for me when I can get it. Trying to get VP's SEF94 cheaply here. Hard to do so far...

Hiy Rich! I'd wager you don't give your mechanical ability enough credit. I see you're in Oregon. You gonna make the PNW GTG next year? Should be a Bob's (Farley9N) place again if I'm not mistaken. I'm planning on making it up there for it.

I'll let you know if I put some pics of my saws up. The C5 in my avatar is probably the best lookin'. I had a group photo pic once, but it seems to have vanished. A few of the saws (451VL, Original EZ, plus some not on the list) are disassembled at the moment...

Thanks for the rep. We're fortunate to have the land, my wife's greatgrandfather settled it in the late 1880's.

No problem. I don't know as much about saws as most of the folks on here so it's always nice to be able to pass something on.
