      Wet. Be prepared to work in the rain and climb in the rain. There are no days off for rain. However, you can work right through the winter.

      The Girly errr Burly Boys do a lot of conifer removals, ie strip up, chunk down. Machines like mini loaders are not generally used around here, so lots of packing firewood from backyards. I don't know BB entire work profile, but in general, the amount of spurless climbing is probably in the 20-40% range.

      The BB work primarily on the North Shore of Vancouver, which is quite hilly, lots of up and down.

      Work around here is picking up after being fairly slow over the summer.

      What is it like on the Coast, I am thinking of heading out there since I saw Burly Boys are hiring... I am a seasoned arborist and a competition climber how is the tree work out west ...?
