Thanks for introducing me to The Saints my friend. That track was cool. I'm into all sorts of music (but not really rap or hip hop). Esp. into heavy rock, punk, and most talented female singer/song-writer/guitarist/pianist combos. Later Dude!

Thanks matey. Righto, I've had another look at eBay and there are new petrol ones going for $600 that are supposedly rated at 15 tonnes. I think I'll gear up to get one next season and sell heaps of wood!

Hey matey. I read an old thread about hiring out one's hydraulic splitter. I see you have a super axe. I can't afford one that big and serious but I am considering getting one of the smaller and much cheaper electric ones rated at 5 and 7 tonnes. Do you think that would be tough enough to split the hard red gum we find here in Victoria? What is your super axe rated at? Thanks!

The electric ones are toys. They look big in the photos, but are about 30cm high. Worst thing I ever bought. Now have a 30ton splitter, goes through anything.

it is impolite to handle another mans chain saw, gun or wife. one should never ask & even if offered never accept the gun or saw.
