OK, I had to have my wood cutting partner bring his MTD 25 ton up since I don't have one yet. I have been running out of wood and hand splitting as I go and just wanting to get into my stacks of rounds. Last year, when I was a contractor, I would do a job, come home on Wed. or Thur. and I would go out for the fun of it and cut more and more rounds. Luckely my neighbor has two acres and nothing on it so he lets me park my rounds there til I get a splitter from someone. Oh and my other project this spring/summer, is build my wood shed, I have the POS temp shed for now. So, check it out, wood truck, me cutting a round and bringing it home to the temp. wood shed...<BR>

may God grant us both roofs over our wood, cause that was no shed. I am sorry. Hey I am still tarping it on pallets but that is no shed. What is that anyway? If I were to say anything i would go with bunker.

Dude, I think your right!
I just called it a wood shed, but I had white fur rounds here and left over metal siding, so I just whipped this together to keep the snow and rain off. It is a bunker! Try crawling under that thing in below freezing tempuratures in your slippers to get wood before South Park comes back on! You always blow a slipper in the process(I know you know what I mean) and don't get back in time. Well, the plan is to build a shed, I have my friends Auger, so I can plant the corner posts and go from there. I am going to make this one so you can walk in like a human, not on your knuckels, like an Ape!:dizzy:

Great looking load of wood! Shame it's not maple! None the less, great haul. Looks like your Toyota has done it's share of wood hauling etc...

Nice haul K7...I sure am getting antsy to get back out in the woods with all this snow. Always interesting to see how other get the job done.

You and me both. We have to much snow in the hills to go get new wood right now and I never got to use my 064 much. I got it at the tail end of the season, then the bar got screwed up, but I got a new chain and bar now. I also traded my MS-290 to a friend for an 039, he didn't want that heavy of a saw, plus he he wanted a new model saw, he figured he's going to keep it the rest of his life. So, I havn't run either saw much, but yesterday shortening those rounds before we split 'em, that 039 shown like a brand new diamond! I think I will enjoy this pair.

YOu sure you have enough lights on that dodge? :greenchainsaw:

Believe it or not, it's JUST enough! Out here where I live, you have go 40 miles to see a traffic light! Plus, I spend alot of time in the woods and traveling around the area, and you must keep your eyes peeled out here, "yard rats" everywhere(deer)!:spam:
Not sure if your familiar with Mopar wireing or not, it SUCKS! My head lights need to be replaced, not the bulbs, but the units themselves. I call them my two candle's.:dizzy:

I admire your attitude of getting it done with what you have to work with. Sometimes you just gotta keep going in one direction long enough and make do until you can do better. Funny thing you mentioned about the headlights on your truck. I drive a 2002 Dodge 1500 4x4, and the headlights have always been very dim compared to many other rigs I have owned. I have had the truck checked out by the dealer three or four times but they claim there is nothing wrong. Must be a Dodge thing?

I think it might have something to do with the wireing. I think they use too small a guage of wire for the current load! But one other problem is the reflecto stuff behind the bulbs, one of my lights the chrome is peeling off? Did they have Chevrolet coat there inner lenses? I'm sorry your lights are dim too, but I feel better it's not just my truck! My wife already call's it the "money pit"!:(

Yes, yes it is...

I love my Dodges. Currently on my third (2nd gen) Ram pickup, and yes, they have ALL had horrid wretched lights

I've heard good things about the xenon replacement bulbs (not the whole replacement lights), but haven't tried them yet.

Its a Chrysler thing; truck, minivan and Jeeps all suffer from it. Chrysler uses too small a wire in the wiring harness for the lights. Replace the wire from the solenoid to the headlamps with 14ga and they will be much brighter. Worked a treat in my Jeeps.
