In like new condition yeah I'd say around 300-350 as well, and they are pretty sweet saws. I used to run huskies and actually the 350 was my first real saw. I ran that one saw until it was pretty much done for. But if that's what your looking for you may consider saving up a few extra bucks and go for the 346xp.. about the same size and weight but alot nicer. More powerful and durable with its magnesium crank case vs plastic...

thanks for the reply. :) Im pretty clueless. Would this be better or worse than the newer 450?

Probably about the same if not alittle better. But for more money you could get a 353(400ish) which is better yet or a 346xp(500ish) which is tops for the husky small saws.

The 350 makes a great little saw. It's the home owner version of the 346. Here's one I built.

If you could find one what is a new 350 worth? Good starter chainsaw?
thanks, james

Got to watch what you are buying because there were tons of reman 350's sold much cheaper than the new ones.

I started a thread back in March asking the exact same question about the original sale price of a 350

EDIT:
Seems that a common problem was the muffler working loose which would blow hot exhaust on the case and melt a hole. There was a updated muffler kit that supposedly corrected the issue.

There was one listed in the swap meet thread, I forget who told me about it, might be worth a look through there to see if it's still available.
I love the 350's! I like them better than the 346's myself.

The straight gassed one just put a piston in was a open chambered...Tag said it was a 1993...

After Arrowhead did some grinding on the cylinder it ran very respectable...:D

I just snagged a new 346xp yesterday off Ebay from a Jackonville Dealer for $430 that will be delivered to my door tomorrow. The 346xp has not increased in price for the past 3-4 years since I have been following prices. Can't say that for most other European made products.
